Good to know

What is Modelo 210?
Modelo 210 is the Spanish tax form used by people who are not tax-resident in Spain but have income or property there. For a property owner, it can be used to declare imputed or deemed income from the property, even if it has not been rented out.
Do I need to declare even if the property is not rented out?
Yes, as a non-resident property owner in Spain, you normally file Modelo 210 each year even if the home is only used privately or left empty. This declaration is separate from local property tax, IBI.
What is valor catastral and where can I find it?
Valor catastral is a tax value for the property and is used as a basis for the calculation. You can often find it on your IBI receipt, sometimes together with referencia catastral. SolPiso helps you identify which details are needed.
What if the property has been rented out?
If the property has been rented out, other information and sometimes another process apply. This service is for Modelo 210 imputed income for property that has not been rented out. If you have had rental income, we review the suitable process before work begins.
Does each co-owner need to file separately?
Normally, each co-owner files their own Modelo 210 declaration based on their ownership share. If there are several owners, SolPiso reviews this before work begins and explains the price and process.
When is Modelo 210 filed?
For property that has not been rented out, the declaration is normally filed in the year after the tax year. Exact deadlines can change, so SolPiso checks the current rules before handling the case.
